We have had an eventful late winter and Spring here at Robertsville VFC #1! With the delivery of our two brand new Pierce Arrow XT Fire Engines, we will continue to provide professional and quality fire protection to the residents of District #2. They are the new 28-2-75 and 28-2-74 (pictured below). Now that they are in service and responding to calls, they have replaced our older Pierce engines (yellow) and we will be saying goodbye to them as soon as we find a suitable buyer.
In May we responded to a house fire on Whittier Drive and would like to thank our brothers and sister firefighters from Morganville, Marlboro, Gordons Corner, and Old Bridge for their mutual aid assistance. We had a rapid response and made the best stop that we could. We would also like to thank our neighbors at The Solana (Chelsea Senior Living), Marlboro, for holding a Chicken & Ribs fundraiser that benefited the RVFC. We really appreciate your interest in helping us out!
We also appeared in several parades for the Memorial Day holiday: Marlboro Twp & Freehold Borough Memorial Day parades. We received a fire station visit from the Marlboro Prep Academy school and had a blast with our new friends touring the station and the trucks with you.
