Weather Update - 230 PM 2/18/2021

ROBERTSVILLE FIRE DEPT – MORGANVILLE NJ: Good afternoon. You’ve likely already went through the heaviest snow during the last few hours. Snow in the vicinity now may mix with sleet and/or freezing drizzle at some point this evening and tonight. There is no obvious dry period. Additional snow during this period may be another inch. A light glaze of ice is possible from any intermittent freezing drizzle. Temperatures will be in the upper 20s this afternoon and tonight. Winds will be from the northeast at 10-15 mph. This mix will likely transition back to snow showers Friday morning and those will end on early Friday evening by 8pm or so. Another inch or so of new snow may occur during the day Friday. Highs on Friday will be in the lower to middle 30s with northerly winds around 10 mph. Lows Friday night will be in the middle 20s with light winds. Wet pavements will have a re-freeze risk Friday night into Saturday morning. Forecast confidence is high.
